Dentist- I just made an appointment for Grady to see a pediatric dentist.  His office looks great - very kid-friendly.  He also has a very good reputation around here.  Now that G has all his teeth (except the 2 year molars, which are coming in now, unfortunately), he needs to get checked out.

TTC- Well, I was thinking about this and feel that next summer would be a great time to TTC.  That way G would be 3.5 when the next child is born.  But Eric informed me last night that he "can't fathom having another one right now".  I know he means RIGHT NOW and not ever.  But it is not even something he really wants to discuss.  He always talks about "when we have another kid", so I know he wants more, but I don't think he will be ready very soon.  I think I may be OK with spacing them more like 4 years.  I like the idea of Grady being bigger, so he is in school and more independent.

Laser Hair Removal- Anyone ever have this done?  Eric said to just find a place and make an appointment if I wanted it, so I am trying to research it.  I want it everywhere - legs, bikini, underarms.  But I'll just take it one area at a time.  I'll probably start with the bikini area because I hate shaving that area, and I cannot deal with the pain of waxing there (I'm fine with other areas, but HATE getting waxed there!)

Naps- We go back and forth.  Yesterday was great and then today G screamed for an hour (with me checking in every 10 minutes or so) until I caved and rocked him to sleep.  He may have been overtired because he was starting to drift off in the car before we got home from story time.  I was practically screaming in the car to keep him awake!

napping progress!

So this is embarassing to admit, but recently I had gone back to rocking G to sleep for naps.  He was putting himself to sleep for them for some time, but then he started really resisting, so I caved in.  Well I decided that is ridiculous and since he is only taking one now, maybe he won't resist as much.  I also figure maybe it will help him nap longer.  Well today I read him a book, hugged him and kissed him a bit, and then put him down.  He fussed for about 10 minutes, I went in an patted him and walked out, and he went to sleep.  I went in to check on him, and he's so cute in there!

Oh, another cute thing.  Today I was giving him some massage (part of Kindermusik, so we do it at home when we listen to the CD) and went to kiss him after I was done.  He was giving me big smiles and grabbed my face with both hands and pulled it to his and kissed me right on the lips!  He really puckered and everything!  He has only done that once before.  He kept doing it too - it was so cute.  He is so active now that I have to savor those cuddly lovey moments even more.
