My MIL is such a pain!!!  I think she just likes to be difficult.  We called her to ask about going to the beach in May and she had some stupid reason she wasn't sure.  It's really the only good time for me, Eric, Grady, my mom, and my step-dad.  And she has some dumb excuse that doesn't seem very valid.  I think she gets mad that we usually plan things with my mom first and then ask them.  But that is only because I talk to my mom every day and Eric only talks to his parents every other week or so.  And they aren't the type that are going to help research or look into things, so what's the point in bringing them into the planning?  My mom is awesome with planning vacations and planned our whole trip last year (including getting them to give us a 4-bedroom house for the cost of a 3-bedroom, which is normally $1000 more).  Anyway, we told MIL to think about it and get back to us, but now this means I can't really move forward with planning since I don't know when we can go.  I guess we could do July like last year and do our couple trip in October, but I really wanted to do it on our anniversary this year.  Oh well, I am off to research more places...
