This morning was good. We went to storytime at the library and G did well. There is one song where we sing "can you hug with 2 arms?" and Grady ran over to hug the teacher :) She loved that. She has a son named Grady so she is a little partial to my Grady, I think ;)
Grady also has a few new words over the past 24 hours or so. These are things he totally said on his own - not copying me. In fact, I never even really taught them to him: "cone" (said again and again while pointing at a big orange cone in the parking lot at the school playground where we played yesterday); "door" (pointing out all the doors in the house); "wall"; "snack" (said while getting a bit upset and trying to get into the diaper bag - it WAS snacktime after all).
I am thinking of getting G a play kitchen because he loved the one at his friend's house the other day. Hers was an old Little Tikes (a hand-me-down), but here is the new one:

I am working on photo book #2 for Mother's Day - for my MIL. My mom's came out great. I am doing pictures of them and Grady (plus some of them, us, and Grady since they love us ALMOST as much as they love Grady). I got my book from Snapfish recently (Grady's first year) and the quality was gorgeous. It came out so nice. I plan on doing one for him and any future kids for each year of their childhood.
We have a wedding in Atlanta in August, so I need a dress. I have been starting to look. This is the type of thing I am thinking - I am just not a black dress kind of girl. I LOVE color.

Oh, one more fun thing! I made these pea pops (yes, you read that right) from a new toddler cookbook I got and G ate them up. I am obsessed with getting him to eat more varied and healthier things. So I was glad he liked them. They actually do taste good. They have cream cheese and some other stuff too. You freeze them with a stick in them and then pop them out as needed.
