Well yesterday was a tought day - G's minor cold that he has had seemed to get worse, and he had a low-grade fever.  Since it was a Sunday, and the fever was low, I decided to wait until today to get a doctor's appointment.  But he was clearly uncomfortable and fussy all day.  I really think he has an ear infection.  It was a gorgeous day - 60's and sunny - so we let him play on his new climber (one of the few things that made him happy all day) and took a long walk around the neighborhood.

I was really worried about how last night would go, as far as his sleep.  The only time he woke up was around 3AM, which is when the Motrin would have worn off.  Eric got up,  gave him more Motrin, gave him his paci, and we didn't hear another peep until 7:30AM, which is good.  My plan was to skip Kindermusik (so sad since it was the first week) and go straight to the Dr.  But since they couldn't see him until the afternoon anyway, and he seemed in much better spirits today (though still sick), I took him.  He had a great time.  He was super smiley and during the part where we go around from baby to baby so they can "meet" he reached out and grabbed this little girl's hand and would NOT let go!  She loved him too.  He was also going around to the other moms, smiling and saying hi.  Several picked him up since he is just so friendly.  As usual, everyone is amazed by his absolute lack of stranger anxiety.  The instructor said it was "almost scary", and I agree!

We just got home a little while ago, I gave him a snack, and put him down for a nap.  When he gets up we will probably have lunch, play outside or take a walk (it's super nice again), and then head to the Dr. for 2PM.  I hope we get this cleared up!  But I have heard this area is bad for ear infections (something do to with the weather and altitude - I thought it sounded ridiculous, but I have heard it from several people, including a nurse!).

OK - I got some really cute pictures at the park on Saturday and yesterday in the back yard, as well as some other random ones.  Here we go...
