So I just won this Gymbo stuff on eBay for only $16! It is all NWT (new with tags) and in Grady's size for fall. Since it stays warm here for a very long time, I think the pants will work great - they can be worn rolled up or down. The bonus is that he had some of the same line (Aviator - one of my favorites!) for the spring that will still work in the fall.
I am currently winning this on eBay for Grady:
It is the Snugli Cross Country Baby Backpack Hiking Carrier.
I have heard very good things about it and it seems to get great reviews on Amazon and other sites. I has been used twice but is in new condition. The bidding is almost over, and I am at $15. It goes for over $80 in the store, so that would be great (even with $12 shipping). I am hoping to get a backpack carrier before we go to Florida, especially since our condo borders a state park. There are also some great hiking spots around here where we hope to go with Grady in the fall.
This outdoors carrier allows tiny trekkers (up to 40 lbs.) to ride Rocky Mountain high without wearing down Mom or Dad. It aims to keep parents (up to 6’2") cool, comfy, balanced, safe and secure. That’s a tall order, but the included features pull it all off fairly well if used correctly. They include: a 5-point padded harness, 3-position hip belt, adjustable sternum, shoulder and waist straps, "no sweat" mesh back and side panels, reflective "commuter" trim, a removable sun-canopy, rather spacious storage for baby essentials, and more. The carrier is lighter and more convenient than it looks--if a bit skimpy on the padding—because of all the smart straps and belts. Be thankful for them. But, if the load becomes too much to bear parents can simply prop it up vertically with the included kickstand and take a breather.

Well G is taking a mega nap, so I am bidding on this on eBay:
It's a Vera Bradely backpack for me to use as a diaper bag when I bring G somewhere that I can't leave my bag and I have to chase him. The shoulder-type fall off when running around.
I also want this pendant for Mother's Day - isn't it cute? I am sure I won't get it because Eric doesn't take hints, but I really like it.
Nothing much new - we went to the zoo again this morning and enjoyed some beautiful weather - low 60's and sunny this morning - nice and comfortable. The kids were all good and G talked up a storm. It's crazy because there is a little girl who was a very early talker and has a great vocabulary. She could talk like crazy when G could only say like 3 words. Now they say all the same things, and I actually think G may have passed her in his speech. It's not like it's a contest, I just can't believe how he got started a tad late but has just exploded with his speech! Crazy!
We talked about TTC#2 2 nights ago, and I think we may be coming to the same page. I am really thinking I would like to next summer - maybe July. That way I don't have a summer baby, which would be ridiculous in South Carolina! I am aiming for April :) I *think* I will be ready by then, but if not, we will just wait a bit longer. While I am SO ready in some ways, I am just not in other ways. I am really enjoying just focusing on G for now. We have blast together, and he is certainly exciting enough for now! I am not stressed about how the kids are spaced, and I am not even 30, so I have plenty of time. It's just fun to talk/think about! Eric also admitted that if he didn't think about the tough early days, he would want even more than 2. So you never know...
