Grady has a great dad

I just felt compelled to mention that I really do realize what a wonderful dad Eric is.  I know I was complaining about him a couple weeks ago, so I really should post the good stuff too.  He is in there giving G a tub right now, using a washcloth hand puppet to sing to him and clean him up.  He sings to him every night in the tub - cool music like Johnny Cash.  And if he think of a new song he wants to sing him, he goes online to learn the lyrics so he can sing it.  How cute is that?

Me and G had a pretty good day today - Kindermusik in the morning.  The instructor was introducing everyone since there were a couple new people who missed last week.  She just told people "oh, he's the baby who smiles all the time" about Grady.  That sure was nice to hear that is someone's impression of him!

He took a decent nap this afternoon (almost 2 hours) and then we went to open gym at Gymboree.  He had a blast there, though he is very interested in people's shoes in the waiting area. That's a bit annoying after a while.

So I am in the process of making Grady beef stew from my Annabell Karmel cookbook.  It should make a bunch so I can freeze a lot too.  I am happy that I am back to making G food.  For the first few weeks in the new house it was all store-bought.  It's no big deal, but I do like to give him homemade food.  And I even got him the really healthy beef from Publix.  They have this section of meats that have no hormones, antibiotics, etc.
