This baby is mine for only $46, rather than the $90 it currently is going for.  I won it off eBay - it is new with tags on it!



It should work great for chasing G at the park this summer.  I also may use it at the beach to keep my hands free for other beach stuff (oh, and to carry Grady!).

Other than that, G unfortunately came down with a fever last night.  He didn't sleep great, though Eric did night duty - nice guy he is!  I took him to the doctor yesterday and they said he looks 100% healthy.  He was also in a great mood this morning and is napping now.  So what the heck is going on? Another mystery fever that will disappear in 2 days?

This weekend I hope to do some beach clothes shopping for myself.  The $ from the movers came through (for damages), so I have a bunch of that to use (since it was for a purse and other stuff of mine that was damaged).  I am also looking to get G's kitchen now, since the $ for his scrached play cube was part of that.  It's really a good deal, considering the play cube still works great and isn't even very scratched.

I decided that I want sunglasses for Mother's Day - nice ones though. I like that pendant, but considering I have no reasonable sunglasses, and I plan on being at the pool or beach almost every day this summer, I need them.  Eric liked the idea, so I guess we will go pick some out.  He also asked what I want to do that day, so I need to decide.

Speaking of the pool - our pool opens on Friday!!!  It is about 50 steps from our front door, so I plan on being there a lot.  G looooooves the water, so I am super excited to take him.

Travel plans are still being worked out for the rest of the year - we have Hilton Head from May 17-24; Turks and Caicos form June 26-June 30; Atlanta wedding for 3 nights at the end of August.  My birthday in August is still undecided (beach resort or go up to Mass for several days?).  We are also thinking of going back to Lynchburg, VA in August (where we used to live) to visit friends and go to a wedding reception (the ceremony is going to be really small at the beach).  And then we need to find about 5 days to go see my dad in Pensacola, FL.  I would like to go in the early fall and maybe go over to Destin for a few nights too.  In November we will be headed to Mass for sure for Thanksgiving and a 2nd birthday party extravaganza :)
